Fortunext Industries Limited is a diversified manufacturing holding company with deep roots in India’s packaging sector, and a forward-looking commitment to sustainable, scalable growth.

Our story begins in 1983, when founder Mr. Hitesh Parikh established M/s Parikh Trading Corporation in Mumbai, trading in plastic carry bags. What started as a modest trading venture soon evolved into a manufacturing enterprise: in 1990, the Group commissioned its first production facility with an initial capacity of 140 tonnes per year, a bold bet on the future of organised packaging in India.

Over the following decades, relentless investment in technology, infrastructure and customer relationships transformed that single facility into a full-scale industrial operation. Today our manufacturing capacity exceeds 5,000 tonnes of plastic and compostable packaging per year, alongside 12 crore paper bags annually (FY 2025-26), a testament to 40+ years of compounded effort and trust.

In 2015 the second generation, Mr. Nimit Parikh and Mr. Punarv Parikh, joined leadership and catalysed a bold diversification agenda. Their stewardship introduced paper-based packaging, injection moulding, cloth bag manufacturing and non-woven bag trading, transforming Fortunext from a single-product manufacturer into a multi-vertical industrial group.

Incorporated on 20 December 2024, Fortunext Industries Limited is the holding company for five specialised subsidiaries, each a category leader in its own right. It represents the next chapter of a legacy built on grit, craftsmanship, and the conviction that great packaging is never just a box. It is a brand’s first impression.
